My American Ways book (mentioned in previous post) has been fun material for lessons with Ms. Liang. Today when reading/talking about the levels of greatness of our respective countries I ended up saying that American food was better because we have so many different kinds of food available to us. She said Beijing did too. I said, "FIND me a good BURRITO and I will believe you." I'm hoping she's taken it as a challenge/something she must do to prove that China is great. We've only got two lessons left, we'll see what happens.
Finished one final today, have two more tomorrow morning, and then another Friday morning. And a bit of good news: I've received a 300 dollar scholarship for my excellent attendance, which I plan to blow this weekend on kites and other whatever.
Photographs are of the Mexican restaurant at the World's Fair and the Panama Canal.
